SDS InformationYes, we recommend washing your car before using Quickshine Detailer, especially if it’s heavily soiled. It’s important to remove dirt, salt, and grime first as you risk rubbing particles into the paintwork, which could result in swirl marks and light scratches.
If your car is only lightly soiled, rinsing the paintwork with a pressure washer before drying it with a chamois is sufficient before applying Quickshine Detailer. However, if it’s really dirty, we’d recommend giving it a thorough two-bucket wash with Simoniz 2 in 1 Shampoo & Snow Foam.
